Hey guys! We want to bring you into our event signage process and show you a little bit about what creating your event sign with White Ink Calligraphy looks like. Whatever you are hosting or planning, we are well equipped and have everything on hand to tie your details together with the perfect sign.
“Why is event signage important?” Because it is not only decorative, it’s functional! You wouldn’t be expected to drive on a road without signs to guide you or explain a little bit about your surroundings. So, why would we do that to our guests? From table numbers to seating charts, to bar signs, guests can be confident about the goings on of an event because of the information our custom signage subtlety provides for them.
Our sweet couple, Camille and Daniel, asked White Ink to help provide their wedding guests with lots of great signage throughout their wedding day at Long Hollow Gardens. This gorgeous venue in Gallatin, Tennessee covers a lot of ground and has a lot to offer. So, bringing in signs to keep the crowd headed in the right direction and staying well-informed was a must and a very considerate addition to their big day!
White Ink put together some gorgeous pieces for Camille and Daniel. A customized seating chart, wedding welcome sign, and bar menu were just the start. We also provided our popular acrylic table numbers as well as one of our favorite items- the signage for the couple’s memorial table.
“How do we get started?” First, our clients will look over White Ink’s Request a Quote Form where they can fill us in on the types of event signage they’re looking for and provide the day-of details. From there, folks can view our inventory of rentals in the White Ink collection that are available; or they can choose to use their own signs that we can customize! On this form, we try to get ALL of the info we can in order to give clients the most accurate quote. If they aren’t sure about what signs are best for an event, we can help with that! Clients can even upload pics of some event signage inspo for us to see!
We also ensure the perfect way to get your event signs to you. Whether it’s coordinating with your planner for pick up or arranging the right time for your signage to be delivered, we’ve got you! Our team is the best at what we do. So, what’s your sign?
We are honored to help clients like Camille and Daniel achieve the wedding of their dreams. And we love the signs they chose to use on their big day! The White Ink team was happy to get to work for them and give them exactly the signs they were looking for. Cheers to this amazing couple!
Being given the opportunity to truly tap into my creative side makes me feel as free as the bubbles floating to the top of a champagne flute. The White Ink team was invited to take part in some seriously showstopping details for the wedding of our amazing couple, Molly and Killian.
Aside from making their vows at the former home of Reba McEntire, our couple wowed their guests with custom wedding details and designs that would be the topic of conversation for a long time to come.
Let’s jump right in to the seating chart wall, shall we? I mean LOOK at this gorgeous wall! If you want to make an impression, seating charts are a great place to start. White Ink designed the custom, laser-cut calligraphy title “Sip and Be Seated” for this showstopper of a seating chart.
Next, we created the escort cards to slip over the champagne flutes that lined the entire wall. (I love that I get to say that sentence). I appreciate the duality of using this wall as a way to seat your guests and get the cocktail hour started. Very clever!
White Ink customized Molly and Killian’s mirrored wedding welcome sign which was beautifully paired with florals that spilled over the edges. I honestly love when couples use their florals with signage like this. It’s always such a fantastic balance of softness and elegance.
Molly and Killian chose to use our table numbers that were designed with gold ink and completed with gold foil edges. These table numbers are some of my favorites from the White Ink collection!
Want to know what’s kind of the cutest thing ever? Bathroom selfie lettering! Imagine taking a moment for a quick wardrobe check and being greeted with the message, “Hey gorgeous, get back on the dance floor” written on the bathroom mirror. You wouldn’t have to tell me twice! Wedding receptions need this energy.
White Ink completed this dreamboat of a wedding by creating custom cocktail lettering! These are so, so fun to make. I absolutely love getting to do orders like this, partly because I know how much people are going to enjoy it. I promise you if this is ever something you choose to add to your cocktail hour, your guests will be impressed!
Cheers to the happy couple! And thank you for all the timeless wedding inspo!
Every once in a while, our team at White Ink gets to be a part of some incredibly unique projects for our amazing brides and grooms. Neeka and Nick asked us to be a part of making their dream wedding stand out in a way we will always remember.
This Chicago couple came down to Twin Falls at Rock Island Tennessee State Park to say, “I do”. We are so happy they did, because this wedding day definitely made its mark on our hearts!
After an unforgettable ceremony held in front of a WATERFALL, this sweet pair celebrated their nuptials with friends and family in an intimate reception at the lovely Cookeville Estate.
White Ink was happy to customize their mirrored wedding welcome sign that greeted each guest with the lettering “And so, our adventure begins.” I love the peace that comes after reading a message like this one, and it was the perfect fit for Neeka and Nick!
Perhaps one of the most moving details of this Tennessee wedding was how Neeka and Nick chose to remember a very important day in our nation’s history. Their wedding day fell on the 20th anniversary of the terrible events that occurred on September 11th. This poignant moment was not lost on our couple. They chose to honor this day and the lives that were lost by having a Remembrance Table at their reception. I was given the incredible honor of penning a custom letter that was displayed on this table.
The powerful gesture to hold space for those who lost their lives as victims or as first responders on September 11th was the most incredible tribute I’ve seen at a wedding. As Neeka and Nick put it, we are “Forever grateful.”
Neeka thoughtfully decided to gift her new husband a bottle of Blanton’s Bourbon which she had White Ink custom engrave for him! I LOVE when we get to do projects like this because these gifts are one-of-a-kind, and they carry a memory that will last for a lifetime!
For those looking for a gift that leaves a big impression, engraving bottles of bubbly or spirits always brings that wow factor.
Of course, the White Ink team did what we do best and put together an amazing invitation suite for Neeka and Nick. YES, to envelope calligraphy, ya’ll. Look how stunning white looks over top the navy envelopes!
The vintage postage further elevates this look. And little details like a print of The Cookville Estate at the top on the invite perfectly ties the whole day together, from invitation to reception.
Neeka and Nick, you truly know how to turn a wedding into a memorable experience for all involved. This is a day we will remember for years to come, and for that, we are forever grateful. Cheers!
It makes my calligrapher heart so happy to see White Ink’s work go beyond the Nashville scene. We love to reach out as far as we can, leaving our mark on the events and weddings that our clients have worked so hard to pull together. This time we found ourselves in the dreamiest corner of Kentucky, with the sweetest couple we could’ve hoped for. I’ve been so excited to share these moments from Adair and Andrew’s charming Kentucky wedding with you!
Want to know the best way to boost the décor of your wedding? Mirrors! Mirrors take on a very delicate and unassuming role in the world of décor. They can flawlessly and beautifully fill any space in nearly any event. White Ink has an amazing collection of mirrors for our brides and grooms to use and customize for their weddings. When it comes to making good use of the versatility that our mirror collection provides, Adair and Andrew understood the assignment.
Check out how adorable our round ornamented mirror looks beside the card box. I love that they chose signage to help highlight what the guests would find at this table. I feel like this sweet little mirror and card box were made for each other! So, so perfect.
As if walking underneath a canopy of holly trees to find their seat wasn’t breathtaking enough, guests were swept away with the tender lyrics of one the most well-known love songs ever. We customized this gorgeous mirror to read, “Take my hand, Take my whole life too.” I mean, it’s enough to turn anyone into a complete puddle, right? Our bride and groom also used a custom mirror at their cake and dessert table with the lyrics, “How sweet it is to be loved by you.” I cannot think of a better way to add romance to your wedding décor. Additionally, Adair and Andrew chose one of our favorite mirrors that we custom made to use as their welcome sign, and I love the uniqueness of the frame for this sign. The outdoors of Kentucky worked as the perfect setting for it.
Our couples can never go wrong when choosing these beautiful, tall, standing mirrors to customize their seating chart. There’s something about their beautiful thin gold frames that makes the wording just pop! But I think my new favorite thing is really starting to be the photo guestbook signage. It’s kind of the cutest idea ever and our couples can walk away with instant lasting memories. (It’s the cute little camera on this mirror for me!)
Ok guys, from the castle, to the gardens, to the string quartet and everything in between (including some tasty McDonald’s fries), this wedding was seriously straight out of a fairytale. Our White Ink team was so thrilled with how our details turned out for Adair and Andrew. To say the least, we are proud to be a part of this Kentucky dream!
Amanda and Adam’s wedding was the first on our schedule for the 2021 season, and it was honestly the best start to the kind of wedding season we were hoping for! Winter weddings offer an inviting change of style and energy to the wedding scene, which makes it really special to us. Amanda and Adam trusted White Ink to dive into our creativity and give them some amazing wedding details that we know you’re going to love!
Let’s start with the custom invitation wedding suite. These invites were fully-calligraphed which is not only gorgeous, but also has the amazing ability to effortlessly demand the attention of its reader. In short, this suite is powerful and bold, quite like a winter wedding. The beautiful gold ink work was done using thermography: a process where heat is used to infuse a powdered resin with ink to naturally raise the lettering and give way to a flawless textured look. Always a treat getting to do this for my couples!
Moving on to more wedding keepsakes, I was excited to show you Amanda and Adam’s precious vow envelopes. We LOVE envelope calligraphy, especially when we know it’s going to be something that will be treasured for a lifetime! If you are planning to write your own vows, elevate this beautiful memory with custom calligraphy. You absolutely will not regret taking time to do this for yourselves.
White Ink’s touch could be seen throughout the ceremony and reception. I loved getting to use our gorgeous, ornamented mirror for Amanda and Adam’s wedding welcome sign. One of the best things about using the mirrors from our collection is getting to reuse and customize each of them to fit the style of the bride and groom. The same goes for our card boxes (these are honestly my favorite little things ever!).
The mirrored seating chart we made was surrounded by oversized candles and draped in a gorgeous arrangement of florals. It’s always nice to see these seating charts presented in such a beautiful way. Hand lettering mirrors is something White Ink has been doing since the very beginning. It’s a detail that always delivers and has stood the test of time for so many events. Pro tip: A hand lettered seating chart also allows your guests to get a glimpse of themselves for a much-appreciated wardrobe check.
From the stunning Clemintine Hall venue in the heart of Nashville to the four-tiered cake, Amanda and Adam’s winter wedding was certainly one to remember. It was a dream! White Ink was lucky to have such an unforgettable start to another fantastic wedding season.
We are serving pretty, pretty envelopes with this one for you guys. I’ve been excited to show off this wedding invitation suite that White Ink created for our gorgeous couple, Alyson and Ben. Spot calligraphy, rosy hues, crisp white ink, all tied perfectly together with rose-pictured envelope liners; it’s a stationary dream, honestly. Also, who isn’t obsessed with envelope calligraphy?
My team and I have several favorites when it comes to Alyson and Ben’s Graystone Quarry wedding. This sweet couple had some fun and thoughtful ideas that made the details of their big day unique and memorable. For example, instead of using a phrase like “Please Find Your Seat” for their seating chart, they wanted it to say, “Our Favorite People” with the guest list following underneath. Changing small things like this makes such a huge difference in how a couple makes their guests feel. When you make your guests feel special, that’s something they won’t easily forget. And we LOVE being a part of that!
I think one of the most clever details in this distinctively guest-centered wedding was the oversized standing mirror that said, “Hello gorgeous. You look incredible. Now go grab a drink. XO Alyson + Ben.” It invites guests to do a quick wardrobe check, relax, and go celebrate! I’m sure this was a much-appreciated fixture during the celebrations of the day.
This couple seemed to be really good at choosing details that fit right in. They were a breath of fresh air for all of the creatives involved in their wedding day. And what a view! Alyson and Ben, you were an absolute delight to work with. If you made your guests feel as amazing as you made us feel, there is no doubt they’re still remembering and still smiling; all because of you. Cheers!
